Beşiktaş barely salvaged a 2-2 draw against relegation-battling Çaykur Rizespor on March 15, with the Istanbul club complaining about the referees once again.

The Black Eagles took the lead early in the game with Mustafa Pektemek, but fell behind after two penalty goals from Leonard Kwauke and Ali Adnan. Pektemek leveled the game six minutes to the second half and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Last week, coach Slaven Bilic complained that they had not treated been equally with their rivals, and on March 15, football director Önder Özen echoed the Croat’s statements.

“If that is the system, we will break it down,” Özen told reporters.

Beşiktaş is still third with 47 points after 25 matches, following Galatasaray from a two-point gap.
Galatasaray was also held to a goalless draw at Kardemir Karabükspor a day ago.

Leader Fenerbahçe, who was set to meet Kayseri Erciyesspor in yesterday’s late kick-off, leads with 51 points after 23 games.
