Aydın Doğan health school opens today

The Education Ministry will take over a health sector vocational school developed by the Aydın Doğan Foundation in Issatbul in a ceremony today.

Aydın Doğan Anadolu Sağlık Meslek Lisesi, a vocational high school for the health sector which was built and developed by the Aydın Doğan Foundation, will be handed over to the Education Ministry with a ceremony today.

Education Minister Nabi Avcı is expected to attend the ceremony at the school in the Bağcılar neighborhood of Istanbul. The ceremony will also mark the official opening of the school.

The 24-class school will have a 720 student capacity.

It will provide education for emergency medical technicians, anesthesia technicians, and nurses, and it also has several laboratories.

The Aydın Doğan Foundation has developed 15 schools and dormitories so far, which are today run by the Education Ministry.
