Dutch artist Warmelink will also be working on her upcoming exhibit.
The mixer “ArtLab” is making its debut with Dutch artist Marieke Warmelink, who will be sharing her production period in Mixer’s open studio space with a live audience.During her stay, Warmelink will also be working on her upcoming exhibition, to be held at Mixer as part of Manzara Perspective’s artist-in-residence program. ArtLab is one of Mixer’s key initiatives to solidify its growing relationship with international and local artists. ArtLab offers another aspect of an artist’s production period and exhibits the usually unseen process to a rotating, live audience in Mixer’s open studio space in collaboration with Manzara Perspectives, offering the audience an opportunity to interact with the guest artist and vice-versa.
Warmelink arrived in Istanbul from The Netherlands on March 5. Warmelink will be working in Istanbul for four weeks and at the end of her production period, Mixer will host an exhibition of her work.
