An Armenian plane was forced to land in the eastern Turkish province of Erzurum for a security check, Agence France-Presse has reported.

The plane was on its way to Syria's Aleppo, according to officials from Turkey's Foreign Ministry.

The exact cause for the grounding remains unknown.

Armenian also should ground every turkish plane that supplies millitary aids to Azeris ? Shame on Turkey !!

Turkey is scared. Soon it will also try to force birds to land...keep us posted Hurriyet and do tell us what type of birds are mainly under target I assume those flying to and from the Syrian direction. Turkey has no single friend in the region no wonder it wants to run away to EU.
