Airport tenders on the way for Turkmenistan

The Turkmen Aviation Association has opened an international tender for the construction of the Türkmenabat airport in the eastern region of the country. The airport is expected to service 500 passengers per hour.

The Association has also announced a second tender for the restoration of an airport

in the northern part of the country in the province of Daşoğuz. The tender will include the construction of a 3,800 meter long take-off and landing runway and the revamping of the current runways and fuel facilities.

Interested parties have one month to apply to Turkmen Aviation Association.
