A 10-year-old Colombian girl gave birth to a daughter yesterday to become one of the world's youngest-ever mothers, dailymail.co.uk reported.
The girl from the Wayuu tribe was taken to hospital suffering from pain and bleeding to undergo a Caesarean section.
She became a mother after 39 weeks of pregnancy – one week long than normal.
The young mother reportedly refused to breastfeed her daughter due to psychological issues related with her age.
Young mothers are commonly found in the Wayuu tribe, according to reports.
