With the novel coronavirus outbreak, Turkey has introduced strict measures to check the spread and has managed to enter the normalization phase as of June.
Göbeklitepe, which opened its door to onlookers after a three-month break, has witnessed an increase in the number of visitors.
It is estimated that during the past two months, around 1,000 people have visited the enchanting ruins during the weekdays, while this figure raised to some 2,000 during the weekends.
