Fine for picking rare sea daffodils nears $10,000
The endangered sea daffodils, which bloom for only one month ever season in a 50-square-meter area in the southwestern province of Muğla, have been under the protection of the World Union for Nature Conservation. (DHA Photo)
It is strictly forbidden to pick the rare sea daffodils, and those who dare to do so will have to pay huge fines.
The fine is currently about 73,747 Turkish Liras (about $9,849).
