Yörük marriage tradition continues in Muğla

A 300-year-old marriage custom of the semi-nomadic Yörüks - carrying a wedding chest to the bridal house - continues in the western province of Muğla. Traditionally, the groom-to-be, accompanied by his relatives, carries the dowry to the bride’s house on the back of a camel.
