Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Rovio, the developer of the world-famous Angry Birds application, in Finland yesterday, attending a meeting with the company’s CEO, Mikael Hed.

The meeting itself, however, was soon overshadowed by a question Erdoğan chose to direct at Hed during the CEO’s presentation on the world-famous game application: "Why are the birds angry?"

“Why are these birds angry? Does it not have a negative effect on children?” Erodoğan was quoted as asking by daily Hürriyet.

Hed assured Erdoğan that no such negative impact has been reported so far, adding that the birds were angry at those who attempted to steal their eggs.

On the same day, Erdoğan also held talks with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen, while also visiting the Finnish Parliament.

He will move on to Sweden and Poland for the remaining days of his visit.
