VIDEO: The moment car fell from ferry in Istanbul
Camera footage revealed March 20 has revealed that a car, which fell into sea while boarding a ferry in Istanbul on March 15, tried to board as the ship was departing before its hatchway was closed.A five-year-old girl was killed and three women were injured in the accident, which took place at around 03.20 p.m. at Istanbul’s Sirkeci port.
Prosecutors had demanded that the captain of the ferry and two personnel be arrested for reckless homicide, but the three were released by the court. However, the captain has been banned from travelling abroad while the trial is ongoing.
