Uludağ Economy Summit to be held on March 13-14

The Uludağ Economy Summit will be held March 13-14 in cooperation with monthly Capital and weekly Economist magazines in the Turkish industrial region of Bursa.

Key figures from around the world and from Turkey will participate as speakers in the Fourth Uludağ Economy Summit, including former European Central Bank President Jean Claude Trichet.

Google Ideas CEO Jared Cohen and Bild Editor-in-Chief Kai Diekmann will be among the speakers at the summit.

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan will be the keynote speaker at the summit, while Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek will make the closing speech.

Economists, politicians and leading names of the business world will attend the summit, where panel discussions will be held on various topics. Panel discussion topics of the Uludağ Economy Summit will include: “Global agenda of a leader;” “What is happening in Silicon Valley?;” “Growth strategies in a digital era;” “Silk Road revives: The future of Chinese-Turkish economic relations;” “Africa: Continent of opportunities;” “Preparing for tomorrow: Digital transformation, investment, new opportunities;” “Time for change in retail;” “Sustainability agenda of a leader;” “Regional base/global power;” “Entrepreneur: Billion dollar company” and “The future of European economy.”

An award ceremony featuring female-friendly companies will also be held during the summit.
