British Prime Minister David Cameron forgot his 8-year-old daughter Nancy in a London pub last night where the Cameron family was enjoying a few drinks, the Daily Mail reported.

The whole family was spending time together in a pub in Buckinghamsire, London, when Nancy reportedly went to the bathroom without telling anyone as the Camerons were preparing to leave.

The prime minister and his family then took off without noticing Nancy's absence until a head count at home revealed one person to be missing.

Cameron called the pub immediately and was relieved to find Nancy was still there.

Nancy was on her own for around 15 minutes before Cameron drove back to pick her up, the Daily Mail said. She was "found happily helping the pub staff."

Brit in Turkiye: I am with you on the 'batter PM' choices. Nice to see some humour in TDN for a change too!

The sad thing is that the man Cameron has proved yet again that he is not fit to lead a Government that is supposed to be guiding our UK nation. Further to that where were the close protection officers who are charged with keeping the PM and family safe? Surely someone in that little pub party could count from 1 to 10! Finally, Buckinghamshire is not in London. It is a county north of our capital city. Enough said I think!

@kemal H - Bet she didn't miss Eastenders though. That's where the fighting is!

@ Chris Green. I am thinking about writing a short book about the adventures of my granny who in her spare time wasn't concerned with knitting or making eccles cakes . She would dress up in her superhero Granny woman uniform and hit the mean streets of our sleepy village. My granny was trained in the secret art of granny fu, a deadly ancient martial art only practiced by few grannies. Who took an oath to defend the weak and vulnerable in our society even at a cost of missing coronation street.

Kemal H - Real comedy; superb! You should join a certain group of mine on Linked in! Your sense of humour would greatly add-value! ;-)

@ Thank you Chris & Brit. Tears are rolling down my cheeks as memories of my lovely granny come flooding back. Sadly she has since passed away . My granny was a real character and was loved even by the six police officers who arrested her, they all volunteered to be pall-bearer at her funeral. I will swear an oath that my granny had a smile on her face with the charge sheet for affray clasped in her little hands while she lay peacefully in her coffin. God bless and rest in peace granny .

Mara: Bistro applies in the UK too. Basically, the majority of licensed Public Houses in the United Kingdom are family-friendly and this has been the case for certainly 20 years.

SAM I do also think it is in the translation. We would call this a "Bistro" in America. Simply a restaurant that serves alcohol as opposed to a bar.

Kemal H: Priceless contribution indeed! My Dad did everything he could to get rid of me, but I though that leaving me under a sign which read "Kidnap me - no ransom will be paid" was a bit much!

@Chris Green - I think a "batter PM" would be more appropriate for the UK - someone along the lines of Mrs. Thatcher with her handbag or kemal H's granny!
