Two officers wounded in police station attack in Istanbul

Two police officers were slightly wounded last night in an attack on a police station in Yenibosna district of Istanbul.

Two militants threw a grenade that failed to explode before opening fire with assault rifles. Police captured a female suspect, while the other managed to escape.

After the clash, police conducted a controlled explosion of the grenade. An investigation is now underway to identify those responsible for the attack.
