LOCAL > Two killed in training plane crash in northwestern Turkey

Two pilots were killed after a small plane crashed into the Marmara Sea off the coast of Tekirdağ province in Turkey's northwest today. 

Search and rescue teams found the bodies of pilot Hikmet Arat and pilot-in-training Liza Şenel, broadcaster Habertürk reported.

The CIRRUS-type plane reportedly lost contact with air control about five miles outside of Marmara Ereğli.
