Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu have begun their much-anticipated meeting on the latter’s proposals on the Kurdish issue at the Justice and Development Party’s (AKP) headquarters in Ankara.

Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu will discuss the CHP's 10-point “road map” to find a solution to Turkey’s decades-old Kurdish question. The proposal includes suggestions to establish a joint “Social Consensus Commission” in Parliament and a group of “wise people” linked to the commission to work on the issue.

we dont need any outsiders to poke their noses in our matters.i know foreigners are not sitting on the fence when it comes to the kurdish issue.we have to resolve our problems on our own without an interference.

Excellent news for a change. But please I ask you both to consider putting a couple of outsiders on this panel. By that I mean non Turkish and non Kurdish this would help give a different perspective on the issue instead of going over the same ground in the same way. Here you have the chance at least to introduce new ideas to a tired dialogue of recriminations and accusations on both sides.
