Turkish man stabbed after warning couple kissing in public

Turkish man stabbed after warning couple kissing in public A man was stabbed four times after warning a couple for kissing in public on May 28 in the northwestern province of Yalova. 

The 42-year-old man, identified only as Metin K., warned the couple not to kiss in public at a shopping mall in Yalova, Doğan News Agency reported on May 30. 

An argument erupted after the warning, during which 20-year-old Oğuzhan G. stabbed the man four times. Critically injured, Metin K. was rushed to the Yalova State Hospital for treatment. 

His assailant was released ahead of his trial after appearing in court.

A police investigation into the incident has been launched.
