Turkish man searching for future wife via poster in Sivas

A man has begun searching for a bride by hanging placards on the walls of the streets in the Central Anatolian province of Sivas.

Dursun Düzen put a picture of himself, in which he is standing in a grey suit, on a poster and hung it around the city walls. “Groom candidate Dursun Düzen” is written above his photo, with the poster also including his mobile phone number.

“I am 37 years old. I've had enough of being single. I want to get married, so I decided to look for a bride through this method. I am waiting for candidates,” said Düzen, who works as a welder in the Suşehri district of Sivas.

He said he was currently living with his mother Arife and his brother Yasin and has up until now not been able to find a bride, despite searching hard.

When asked whether he will marry the first candidate who calls him, Düzen said he should see the woman first and then his heart would decide.
