Turkish jets hit PKK targets in N Iraq

Turkish airstrikes on April 1 hit PKK terrorist targets in northern Iraq, according to Turkey's National Defense Ministry.
Air operations in the regions of Avaşin-Basyan, and Hakurk destroyed weapon positions, shelters and ammunition depots used by the PKK, the ministry said on Twitter.
PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU. It has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including many women and children.
