Turkish film to compete at Moscow fest

The Turkish film “Zerre” (The Particle) has been chosen for the main contest of the Moscow Film Festival, one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. The 35th edition of the festival will be held this year from June 20 to 29.

The director and scenarist of the movie, Erdem Tepegöz, the producer Kule Film, Kağan Daldal, and actor Jale Arıkan will be taking part in the festival, which will start with the screening of “World War Z.” Bratt Pitt will attend the festival and Bernardo Bertolucci and Costa Cavras will give speeches.

In previous years, the festival has hosted important directors’ movies. “Zerre” is the first movie to compete in the main contest from Turkey.
