Turkish designer Hakan Yildirim was forced to cancel his Paris fashion week show on Tuesday after his entire collection mysteriously disappeared in transit, his press service said.

No other details about the loss were provided.

Such problems are extremely rare, though Marc Jacobs's 2012 Spring/Summer collection was stolen en route to London in November 2011, causing Jacobs to cancel his presentation.

Hakaan received the Andam prize, which supports young designers working in France, in 2010, and his show at London fashion week that year attracted a lot of attention.
