Turkish, Afghan airlines ink deal

Turkey’s national carrier, Turkish Airlines, signed a cooperation agreement with Afghan Ariana Airlines on Feb. 7. Turkish Airlines Director General Temel Kotil said Turkish Airlines was the first airline to fly to Afghanistan and added that the cooperation between his carrier and Ariana would further develop thanks to the agreement.
