Turkey eased their way to a 72-58 win over Argentina on Friday
night in the third quarterfinal of the 2012 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying
Tournament for women in Ankara.
Hosts Turkey won a berth in next month’s Summer Olympic Games, which
will be held in London.
Last month the Turkish national women’s volleyball team became
the first Turkish sports team to qualify for the Olympics in 52 years.
