Turkey’s top business organization’s new board members meet PM Yıldırım

Turkey’s top business organization’s new board members meet PM Yıldırım New board members of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) met Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım on March 3. 

At the meeting, a number of key topics were discussed, including the current economic and investment climate, relations with the European Union, the Customs Union deal, the participation of women in the labor force, the Industry 4.0, digital transformation, youth and educational issues, a follow-up press release stated. 

“We have seen an amazingly rapid technological and economic transformation across the world. The public-private sector cooperation has become of great significance in ensuring democracy, sustainable economic development and social development in Turkey in the globalized world. We made a fruitful meeting with our prime minister. We have seen a highly intensive agenda ahead to be jointly followed to make Turkey more competitive,” said TÜSİAD Chair Erol Bilecik. 

The new TÜSİAD board members paid a visit to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Feb. 21. 

TÜSİAD held elections for the Board of Directors, High Advisory Council, Auditing Board, and Disciplinary Committee on Jan. 12 at the 47th General Assembly.
