LOCAL > Turkey's first 'halal' online sex shop opens

Print Page Send to friend »

An online sex shop has been launched to sell "halal" products to Muslims in Turkey, becoming the first of its kind in the country.

The website describes its products as completely safe and halal according to Islamic rules.

When Internet users enter the online shopping site, there are two different links for men and women that lead visitors to separate sections for male and female products.

There are also other sections on the website that discuss sexual intercourse in terms of Islam.

@Brian Irlanda ... hahaha, are you even aware of islam teachings & difination, &who told you that masturbation is allowed in circumstances, masturbation is haram for both men and women, that is the reason that said when kids become adults and they are ready in both mind and physical, let them couple, so to avoid misguidance, and again i repeat this advertisement of sexual relationship in internet is already un-islamic, so where haram halal come in, its just a ploy to earn money though religion

A SHAH, I think you're in dire need of a girlfriend pal. Get down to the pub and loosen up a bit. You'll feel a lot better.

This entire topic is so obscene slanderous and disgusting to deserve any commentaries. I cannot believe that a Muslim if true would initiate or advertise something like this. The Turkish society has been morally infected and will continue to worsen with its proximity to Europe and Christian values. No one can control the Internet it is a Christian western enterprise responsible for such filth, promoting perversions and depravity worldwide .

Just to comment on the graphic of the sitting man, he looks very downhearted and unhappy...and the woman is portrayed as an object with a black featureless face. In relation to the vibrator comments I can confirm that vibrators are strictly "haram". Why??? I do not know....funnily enough masturbation is actually permitted for men in circumstances where woman or more specifically wives are not available.....but it is NEVER permitted for women....would you believe!! :-)

"Different links for men and women that lead visitors to separate sections"? Why? Are they affraid that male and female users might on the web and have cyber-sex on the "wishlist" section? Aren't religions supposed to bless sex ONLY if is for reproduction purposes and NOT for pleasure? If it's just a marketing trick to attract conservative potential customers, then it is wise. If not, then... what a hypocricy!!!

sam afg alokozai: I'm well aware of the origin of the Kama Sutra. I'm sorry if you didn't get my little attempt at humour. An Observer: And I thought all the comments except mine were serious.
