Turkey to ban acetone

Acetone is the latest in a series of risky chemicals to be banned from shelves in Turkey, daily Milliyet has reported.
 
Acetone, used primarily in nail polish, will now be replaced by acetate, in accordance with EU regulations. 
 
Other banned chemicals include chloroform, amonium nitrate, nickel, and gas oil, all used heavily in industrial products.
