Turkey fails to impress in first Olympic volleyball match

Turkey's women volleyball team lost to Brazil in their first face-off of the London Games. The 'Sultans' failed to keep up with their competition on the court, resulting in a final score of 3-2.

The team will play against China in the second match of the group scheduled for July 30.

This is the first time in 52 years that Turkey is being represented in team sports, with both the women’s volleyball and basketball teams winning Olympic berths.
