Turkey is concerned with the security conditions and political tensions in Iraq after attacks on Kurdish party bureaus following an assassination of a deputy.

“We fiercely condemn terror attacks on different targets, including the bureaus of the KDP and KYB,” the Foreign Ministry said in a written statement yesterday.

The ministry stressed that the administration of the country should focus on policies that will embrace Iraqi people, respond to their expectations and take necessary steps during such a critical period for Iraq.

“We believe the Iraqi people will be careful in light of provocations that aim for conflict on ethnic and sectarian lines and hope perpetrators of those acts of terror will be brought to justice,” the statement said.

Turkey was ready to help those wounded by the attacks, the ministry added.

FYI TWO SIDES Just wait, the new constitution will surely include some kind of "duty" clause to protect the morals of open society and a Thought Police Unit will be required. And to add insult to injury your tax dollars will go to pay for it.

two sides to every coin

Turkey has played games with most of the Arab world and the likes of Iraq and Iran, what with threats and double dealings in the political arena. Erdogan has and is making Turkey a laughing stock in world politics. Regards to human rights and freedom of speech Turkey is in the same basket as North Korea and China, and in many cases worse. I am just waiting for AKP to start taxing us on the air we breath, it is about the only thing we are not taxed to death on.
