Turkey bans three websites for hosting ISIL propaganda

Turkey bans three websites for hosting ISIL propaganda Turkey has banned three websites with a court ruling for disseminating Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) propaganda. 

Turkey’s Telecommunications Directorate (TIB) banned access to three websites – takvahaber.com, enfalmedya.com and darulhilafe.com. The Gölbaşı Peace Court in Ankara ordered the ban.

Separately on July 13, the police detained nine suspects in the central province of Konya for allegedly providing members and logistic support to the ISIL group.

The suspects were reportedly attempting to convince people to join the militant group with promises of paradise, cars and money.
