Turkey, Azerbaijan to hold 12-day joint military drill from Sept 18

Turkey, Azerbaijan to hold 12-day joint military drill from Sept 18 Azerbaijan and Turkey will perform a joint military drill in September, a ministry statement said on Sept. 14, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.  

“TurAz Kartalı 2017 (TurAz Eagle 2017) will continue for 12 days, from next Monday [Sept. 18] to the end of this month,” the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said in the statement.      

Thirty airplanes including warplanes, transport aircraft and combat helicopters, will take part in the exercise.
