Türk Telekom has merged all of its products and services offered by Avea, TTNET and Türk Telekom under the single Türk Telekom brand, in line with global trends and the needs of its customers.

With this step, Türk Telekom has consolidated its position as an integrated communication, technology and entertainment service provider at world standards, offering integrated communication services together at a one-stop shop, said company representatives at a press conference in the Mediterranean resort of Antalya on Jan. 26

Türk Telekom subscribers will be able to access all services through a single store, single call center, single website and single mobile application with the Türk Telekom brand as of Jan. 27.

“We have launched a new era by merging our mobile, Internet, home telephone and TV services under the Türk Telekom brand. Our new logo represents innovation, dynamism, customer orientation and diversification, [as well as] the power of our extensive fiber network, which will be present in both mobile and fixed services. We will bring the power of fiber to mobile. Our 206,000 km fiber network will provide the roots that 4.5G communications will draw from. We will be the pioneer of change in the industry and the leader of 4.5G thanks to our fiber network and largest capacity of frequency packages in the 1800 MHz band, which is crucial for 4.5G technology and the largest frequency per subscriber,” said Türk Telekom CEO Rami Aslan.

Emphasizing that Türk Telekom’s robust fiber network will pave the way for a dramatic change in television broadcasting in Turkey, he said: “We will also offer 4K technology to our subscribers as Turkey’s richest TV content provider. Our subscribers will have the chance to watch the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League matches, for which we have acquired the broadcasting rights for three years, in 4K format.”

He mentioned Turkey will become an important finance, energy and transportation hub for the region in the future and a digital partner needed for this massive transformation.

“Figures prove what we say. Our fiber network of 206,000 kilometers, covering all of Turkey, provides a super-fast, efficient and high-capacity connection. We are set for the future by investing in infrastructure for a total of 20 billion [Turkish Liras] in the last decade. We are ready to serve Turkey with our qualified staff of more than 34,000 employees. We are the largest integrated communication and entertainment brand in Turkey with 37 million customers,” Aslan said.
