A Turkish tourism company has introduced a new vacation program, which provides a luxurious safari adventure with the guidance of renowned professional wildlife photographer and author Süha Derbent.
The honorary president of Koç Holding, Rahmi Koç introduced “sedventure,” a Setur enterprise, yesterday in Istanbul’s Rahmi Koç Museum.
Üstün Özbey, general director of Setur, said: “this is a unique chance for people who want to experience natural treasures all around the world. It will be an unforgettable adventure for those who visit Africa, Antarctica, Thailand or Mexico, the four corners of the earth.”
“It is Turkey’s first photo-safari tourism program,” Özbey added. “Photographer Süha Derbent will be the tour director and he will tell you when to press the shutter.”
Rahmi Koç said he was also planning to join one of the tours, as he had never experienced anything similar before. Speaking about Turkey’s tourism agenda, Koç said big-spending tourists were more than welcome in Turkey. “I see many Arab tourists in Istanbul nowadays. Big-spending tourists are always more than welcome in Turkey,” he said. Koç added that Spain had built many mosques to attract tourists recently, and had reached its goal.
A group of dancers from Kenya staged a dance show for invitees to the event.
