Onur Air is set to take advantage of Turkish Airlines’ technical service and logistical support for the components for its fleet of 22 A320 aircraft after signing a deal with Turkish Airlines Teknik, the national carrier announced yesterday.The deal between two of Turkey’s most established civil aviation companies shows the commitment to safety, Onur Air General Manager Cankut Bagana said, adding that in a global environment of competition between firms, such cooperation was a must.
Onur Air will also be allowed access to Turkish Airlines’ component stocks as part of the deal.
Turkish Airlines Teknik General Manager İsmail Demir also added that they were working on expanding their service and maintenance capacity as part of growing their investments.
