Ten workers killed in car crash in central Turkey

Ten workers were killed and several others were wounded when a minibus and a truck crashed in the Ereğli district of the Central Anatolian province of Konya early on June 10.The minibus was carrying agricultural workers when it crashed into a truck along the 20th kilometer of the Ereğli-Konya road, Anadolu Agency reported.
Firefighting teams attempted to retrieve the bodies stuck in the vehicle amid the launching of an official investigation into the crash.
