Syrian soldiers destroyed five Turkish cargo trucks yesterday in Aleppo's Azez neighborhood with arms fire, daily Milliyet reported.

The trucks’ drivers managed to escape and reached the Turkish border with the help of members of Syria’s opposition.

"Syrian soldiers fired on our vehicles. Five trucks were burned," the drivers said. "The Syrian opposition helped us to cross to Turkey by bringing us to the border."

Is the big hole in this story intentional? No mention whether if these trucks were on Syrian soil legally, if so why would they be shot at? Could they have been illegally supplying the opposition with arms and ammunition in which case they were valid targets.

Let's hope for a military coup from inside the ranks.

Wrong Ahmetcan. He will claim opposition forces did it, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Bashar al-Assad has been provoking Turkey to spread its internal conflict into Turkey. Syrian conflict has already spread to Lebanon. Because of the disunity among the Syrian opposition leaders and the support from Russia and Iran, Bashar al-Assad will remain in power for at least 2 more years. In the mean time, another 20,000 Syrians will be killed, 50,000 will be wounded and 100,000 will be tortured in 22 special jails. Bashar is on driver's seat while the world is watching Syrian civil-war

I'm guessing Assad will claim they didn't know they were Turkish trucks, will deny targeting Turks, and keep massacring people.
