Spanish pianist takes Istanbul stage

Accomplished Spanish pianist Javier Perianes is taking the stage at Akbank Sanat tonight. The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Hugely popular with Spanish audiences, Perianes has a growing international reputation. He has worked with leading conductors including Lorin Maazel, Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Jesus Lopez Cobos, Antoni Wit, Daniel Harding and Vassily Petrenko. Recent and forthcoming highlights include appearances with the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta, the London Philharmonic and Sao Paulo Symphony with Eduardo Portal.
