Spanish cinema days come to Sabancı Museum

The Spanish cinema days are organized within the scope of the exhibitonof Catalan master Joan Miro.

Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum opened Spanish Cinema Days today within the scope of its new exhibition titled, “Joan Miró: Women, Birds and Stars” by Catalan master Joan Miro.

 Films by impressive directors of the history of cinema, Luis Bunuel and Carlos Saura, and internationally acclaimed director and screenwriter Pedro Almodovar will be screened for free at the museum between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The screenings will run until Dec. 24.

The Joan Miro exhibition is sponsored by Sabancı Holding and organized in collaboration with the Joan Miró Foundation in Barcelona, the family collection Successió Miró and the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation in Mallorca. Focusing on the work of the groundbreaking and versatile artist, it will be on display until Feb. 1, 2015.
