Sivasspor beat Bursaspor 2-1 in the Ziraat Turkish Cup yesterday.

In an entertaining game, Nigerian forward Michael Eneramo scored the first goal in the last minute of the first half.

Ferhat Kiraz equalized early in the second half for Bursaspor, but Moroccan midfielder Aatif Chahechouhe gave the lead again to Sivasspor in the 64th minute.

Bursaspor, which won its first game in the Group A, and Sivasspor both have three points, along with Fenerbahçe.

Defending champion Fenerbahçe, which beat Sivasspor on the first match day of the group, was set to meet 1461 Trabzon in a later game yesterday.

The top two teams of each group will advance to the semifinals of the Ziraat Turkish Cup.

Earlier in the weekend Trabzonspor was the winning side in a five-goal clash against Medical Park Antalyaspor in a Ziraat Turkish Cup game on Jan. 12.

Two goals from Adrian Mierzejewski gave the Black Sea outfit a 3-2 victory over Antalyaspor, one of the best performers in Turkish football this season.

Trabzonspor has six points from two wins in as many games in the Group B, while Antalyaspor remained second with three points. Eskişehirspor, who beat Mersin İdman Yurdu 3-1 on Jan. 11, also has three points.

Meanwhile, Trabzonspor defender Giray Kaçar has been announced as fit to play after leaving the club’s training camp last week due to heart failure.

Last week it had been announced that the 27-year-old would be out of the squad indefinitely, and the Turkish media reported that the Turkish international’s injury could be career-threatening.
