Shakira attacked by sea lion

Famous Colombian singer Shakira was attacked by a sea lion while vacationing in South Africa, according to daily Sabah.

Approaching a group of sea lions on the beach, one of the creatures emerged from the sea and attacked her, biting her hand. Shakira’s brother reportedly helped to wrestle her free.

Shakira, who emerged from the ordeal with a bandaged hand, said on her Twitter account that "[it] looked me in the eye, roared in fury and tried to bite me.”
