‘Salt Bae’ hosts world-renowned football stars in his restaurants

The co-partner of Turkey’s global Nusr-et chain of grill houses, Nusret Gökçe, who became a social media phenomenon in early 2017 for his meat-cutting and salt-drizzling skills, has recently hosted world-renowned football stars in his restaurants in Istanbul and Dubai.

Gökçe hosted İlkay Gündoğan, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Agüero from Manchester City in his Dubai restaurant.

All of the players shared their picture with Gökçe on social media, paying a compliment to his skills.

In addition to the Manchester City stars, Roberto Mancini, who used to be the manager of Galatasaray and now works with Russia’s Zenit, was also in the restaurant in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Gökçe’s restaurant in Istanbul also hosted Domagoj Vida from Beşiktaş and Mario Mandzukic from Juventus.

Previously, “Salt Bae” served Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio at his restaurant in Dubai and ex-footballer David Beckham in his New York restaurant.
