Rock’n Coke Festival ends with Jamiroquai, Prodigy

Jamiroquai closed out the 10th Rock’n Coke musical festival this year with a performance on Sept 8. The last day started with Rebel Moves.

Jamiroquai and the Prodigy closed out another Rock’n Coke musical festival this year with performances on Sept. 8.

The last day started with Rebel Moves, although Primal Scream, Within Temptation, Selah Sue, Ellie Goulding, Teoman and Yasemin Mori also appeared at the festival.

Jamiroquai started his concert with “Cosmic Girl,” playing a set before the Prodigy took the stage by the end of the night.

One of the other highly anticipated groups this year was the Arctic Monkeys, which played on the main band stage during its first visit to Istanbul. Rock’n Coke was held in cooperation with the Sziget festival, with the latter festival determining the line-up of foreign artists while experienced consultants chose Turkish artists.

Organizers added two more stages to the festival this year, while also increasing the number of parties at the event, which generally brings down the curtain on summertime concerts in Istanbul. The Coke, Alternative Stage, Party Arena, Discovery Stage and City Stage Party Arena areas provided non-stop music for 24 hours during the festival.
