Publishing distributor celebrates 20th year

YAYSAT, the largest publishing distributor in Turkey, celebrated its 20th anniversary over the weekend in Istanbul. The event brought together employees, dealers, transporters and journalists. Daily Hürriyet Chair of the Board Vuslat Doğan Sabancı was also in attendance.

“We have 74 dealers who have worked with us for 20 years now. More importantly, 23 transport friends are here tonight with us,” said YAYSAT General Manager Hakan Urhan in his opening speech.

There are dealers who have worked with YAYSAT for 4 generations with devotion, he added.

“In the last 20 years we distributed 24 billion newspapers, or in other words, 13.4 billion kilograms of newspapers, and more than 1.3 billion magazines. We covered 912 million kilometers of distance [for the distribution of publications],” he said.
