The opening ceremony of the 15th Eurasian Economic Summit will feature high profile political figures from the Turkish government and several other countries. European Union Minister Egemen Bağış and Cemil Çiçek will speak on behalf the Turkish government.

Dr. Akkan Suver, the president of the Marmara Group Foundation, and Ekrem Demirtaş, the chairman of the board of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce, will make opening speeches.

Albanian President Bamir Topi, Bosnia and Herzegovina Prime Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda, Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, Montenegrian President Filip Vujanovic and Governor of the Autonomous Territorial Unit Gagauzia Mihail Formuzal will make greeting speeches.

Temel Kotil, the chief executive of Turkish Airlines, will speak on behalf of the Turkish business world.
Other prominent figures from the Turkish business world who will speak at the ceremony include: Murat Yalçıntaş, the president of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce; Ömer C. Vardan, the president of the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association; Tanıl Küçük, the vice president of the Union of Chambers and Commodities Exchanges; Başaran Ulusoy, the president of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies; and Hikmet Tanrıverdi, the president of the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters’ Union.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbaş and Istanbul Governor Hüseyin Avni Mutlu will also deliver speeches.
