President Erdoğan to head to Pakistan, Uzbekistan

President Erdoğan to head to Pakistan, Uzbekistan Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will embark on a tour to Pakistan and Uzbekistan on Nov. 16-18, in a bid to enhance Ankara’s bilateral relations with the two countries, his press office has announced.

According to the statement, President Erdoğan will be in Pakistan on Nov. 16 and 17 to meet Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He will also address Pakistan’s parliament and senate in Islamabad before moving to Lahore, where he will co-chair a meeting of Turkish-Pakistani businessmen with Prime Minister Sharif. 

Erdoğan will then head to Uzbekistan to hold talks with acting President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Samarkand on Nov. 17 and 18, the presidential press office stated.
