Police detain 25 suspects over Antalya explosion Police detained some 25 suspects on Oct. 15 over an explosion in the southern resort of Antalya on Oct. 14, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Police organized simultaneous operations across the country, including in the capital Ankara as well as Istanbul, to detain the suspects.

The 25 suspects, believed to be outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) members, were detained on the grounds that they were carrying out militia and cooperation activities within the organization.

They will reportedly be sent to court after testifying to the Antalya anti-terror police.

There were no casualties from the explosion at a fishing port in Antalya’s Konyaaltı district, according to the governor's office.
