Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu visit Jordan this weekend to boost bilateral ties as well as to hold talks on recent developments in Syria. 

Davutoğlu is expected to arrive in Jordan late on March 26 to meet with senior Jordanian officials in Amman the following day. 

In his first visit to Jordan as prime minister, Davutoğlu will meet Jordanian King Abdullah and Prime Minister Abdullah el-Munsur on March 27. 

He will also address the Turkey-Jordan Business Forum, will participate in a conference held by the Arab Thought Forum, and will attend the opening of the office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Jordan. 

Apart from bilateral issues, Turkish and Jordanian officials will also exchange views on the ongoing refugee crisis, as two countries bearing a heavy burden of the flow from Syria. Both countries host millions of refugees fleeing the unrest in Syria since 2011.
