PKK roadside bomb kills twovillage guards in Turkey's southeast
ŞIRNAK - Anadolu AgencyTwo village guards were killed and another was wounded by an outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) roadside bomb attack in the southeastern province of Şırnak on Aug. 6, a security source said.
The source said PKK militants detonated the bomb in the Beytüşşebap district during the passing of village guards.
Two guards died at Beytüşşebap State Hospital; the wounded guard was sent to Şırnak military hospital, the source added.
An air-supported operation to apprehend the militants responsible for the attack is still underway.
