Tehran is guilty of supporting the outlawed
Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), according to Turkish Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin.
"We are quite aware of Iran’s support for the PKK,” the minister told state broadcaster TRT amid an official visit to Turkey by Iranian Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani.
“We know that
PKK members that are wounded during clashes against the Turkish army are treated in Iranian hospitals," Şahin said.
Syria, Iraq and Armenia are also on the list of suspected
PKK supporters, according to the Turkish interior minister.
Şahin is well-known for his nationalist leanings.
