Pilot pays tribute to ‘Salt Bae’ Nusret Gökçe while allegedly bombing ISIL in Syria Video footage recorded by a pilot performing the iconic “salt bae” move of Nusret Gökçe, the co-partner of the global Nusr-et chain of grill houses, allegedly during the ongoing Euphrates Shield operation in Syria has gone viral on social media.

The footage shows the pilot making the move while reportedly dropping a bomb during the campaign to capture al-Bab in northern Syria from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Gökçe became a social media phenomenon last month for his meat-cutting and salt-drizzling skills.
