Truck crashes into Russian tourist bus in southern Turkey, dozens injured
A truck has crashed into a bus carrying Russian tourists in the southern province of Antalya, injuring more than a dozen people. Click through for the story in photos...
The bus carrying 25 Russian tourists, who were going to the airport after completing their holidays in Turkey, shifted lanes to exit the highway for a short break at a way station near the Aşağı Kocayatak district early Aug. 29 when the semi-trailer truck hit it.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the bus lost control after the crash and hit another vehicle which was also turning right to exit the highway before falling into a ditch.
Thirteen people, including 11 tourists, were injured in the accident, according to initial reports.
Police launched an investigation into the crash.
